Our 500 Hour Yoga Teachers Training Course is a highly advanced master level course and is eight weeks in duration.
The course is designed to guide you into the authentic wisdom of Yoga as described in the ancient Yoga texts and provide a way to practically implement these principles in modern life. This master level course is ideal for those who seek to become advanced professional yoga teachers.
Our 500 hour Yoga training course, is a combination of the 200 hours and 300 hours courses. It is conducted in two semesters with the first level of 200 Hours Yoga TTC forming the first four weeks of the course. This is then followed by a week of semester holidays followed by 300 Hours Yoga training for the next four weeks. The 500 hour TTC has a duration of nine weeks in total which includes eight weeks of teaching time. Upon completion of the entire course, students are eligible for registration with the Yoga Alliance as a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT).
This eight weeks course comprises Yoga Philosophy, Multi-style Yoga Asana which includes Hatha and Vinyasa flow with balancing methods and alignments training, Pranayama and Yogic breathing techniques ,various Mediation techniques, Kriyas, Yogic anatomy and physiology and Mantra chanting. Throughout the course our students are trained in professional teaching methodology to prepare them to become professional Yoga teachers of the highest calibre.

Anadi Yoga Centre conducts a 500-hour Yoga Teacher Training Course, which is a Master Level Advanced Yoga Teacher Training Course conducted over a period of 9 weeks. This Master level consolidated course is ideal for those who want to delve into the profound depths of Yoga in one go without going through the 200 hour and 300-hour Yoga Teachers Training Courses separately. The intensity and continuity of this program will enable deeper assimilation of the Yoga teachings thereby holding you in good stead for becoming a Master Level Yoga Teacher.
Anadi’s 500-hour Yoga training course, is conducted over two semesters with a one week break after 4 weeks. The first semester covers the content of the 200 Hours Yoga TTC and the second semester of 4 weeks covers more advanced content including that which is covered in the 300 Hour Yoga TTC. In this way the 500-hour TTC takes the student swiftly from beginner level to advanced master level. Upon completion of the 500-hour TTC, students can register with the Yoga Alliance as a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT) which will enable our students to teach internationally at the highest standard.This eight-week module covers the following:
- In depth Yoga Philosophy study of a wide range of the ancient Yoga texts.
- Multi-style Yoga Asana which includes Hatha, Vinyasa and Ashtanga Yoga with balancing and high precision-based alignments and sequences.
- Pranayama and other Yoga based breathing techniques.,
- A variety of meditation techniques, mantra chanting and other processes to enhance stillness of the mind.
- Kriyas (deep cleansing detoxification processes) as prescribed by the ancient Yoga Texts.
- Anatomy and physiology as described in modern science as well as the ancient Yoga Texts.
- Professional teaching methodology to prepare students to become Master Level professional Yoga teachers
This course is a highly advanced version of any of our other Teachers Training Courses, providing you with a more in depth understanding of Yoga Philosophy as well as Advanced Asanas, Pranayama, Kriyas, Meditations and Yoga Nidras. Delving deeper into these aspects of Yoga will enhance your understanding of Yoga as a holistic science for overall well-being and self-mastery. Your teaching skills will become highly refined so much so that you will be able to teach to a highly professional and international standard. Focussed on the more advanced techniques of Hatha Yoga including highly skilled backbends and inversions as well as the specialised sequences of Vinyasa Yoga and Ashtanga Yoga, this course will enable students to teach multi-style Yoga to Master Level.
The Asana practice in the 500-hour Yoga Teacher Training Course is highly focussed on precision-based alignment teaching, balancing classes, new advanced sequences and the creation of classes and courses as well as advanced teaching methodologies. You will be able to teach and perform advanced poses and sequences not covered in the other Yoga Teachers Training Certifications.
The authentic ancient texts of Yoga will be taught in great depth and other Yoga texts will be introduced so that you can understand Yoga as a lifestyle for health, happiness and harmony. Yoga is often equated to asanas but during this course you will come to realise that asanas are indeed a small part of Yoga and knowing the philosophical background will not only help you in your teaching but also in assimilating Yoga as a lifestyle for yourself which in turn will make your teachings more effective.
The schedule is both rigorous and demanding but your personal practice and theoretical and practical teaching skills will grow significantly. The RYS 500-hour Advanced Training prepares you to understand the more subtle and detailed practices and purpose of Yoga.
You will be able to teach all aspects of Yoga with more precision and depth thereby benefitting your students as well as assimilating Yoga more deeply into your lifestyle. As you integrate Yoga as a Lifestyle, the more you will experience it’s benefits and enhance your teaching skills.
This course has been uniquely designed and created on the basis of the traditional Yoga Texts together with decades of research coming from a wide array of International Teaching experience. Each week of the course has been designed on the foundation of traditional and authentic Yoga Teachings. Taught with precision and dedication as well as strict compliance with the Yoga Alliance Standards, this course is an invaluable experience for those wanting to experience the real depth of Yoga.
Each week will be successively more advanced than the previous week. The first week will be focussed on solidifying the main principles of Hatha, Vinyasa and Ashtanga Asana practice. New asanas and sequences will also be introduced.
The teaching methodology for Yoga will be taught to an advanced level during the entire course. Students will be given sufficient opportunity to practice and demonstrate their teaching skills under the guidance of our experienced teachers. This will ensure that the student has imbibed the teachings fully and enhance confidence in our students to teach highly advanced level Multi-Style Yoga classes with full accuracy, professionalism and proficiency.
Our daily schedule is holistic, well researched and formulated so that there is a healthy balance of the various aspects of Yoga. Carefully created by our faculty under the guidance of Yoga Alliance we bring highly professional training to you in a way that is easy to assimilate.
The daily schedule starts in the early morning with cleansing and detoxification which in turn is followed by rigorous training with breaks for meals/ tea as well as free time for self-study. Sunday is a day off and we offer you this day for recreation/leisure and outings.
**Note: 3 Lectures of Ayurveda and Astrology are also offered; their timing will be decided at the start of the course. Three lectures on Ayurveda and Astrology will also be offered in the 300 Hour Course at a time to be scheduled after the start of the course.
